Where exactly are you, and how do I find you?
We are the blue building right next to the McDonald's, in the middle of the main Myeongdong street. The address is 1F, 14 Myeongdong 7-gil, Jung-gu, Seoul (Myeongdong 1-ga) — look for the red PHARMACY cross, the 약 and 药 signs and the blue Hi shield. It is about 250 m (5 minutes on foot) from Euljiro 1-ga Station on Line 2, and about 400 m from Myeongdong Station on Line 4, which makes it a quick pharmacy near me from either station.
What are your opening hours?
Monday to Friday we open at 09:00 and close at 23:00; on Saturday and Sunday we open at 10:00 and close at 23:00. That makes us a workable pharmacy near me late in the evening, after the shops around Myeongdong have shut.
Do you speak English?
Yes — English, Chinese and Japanese are spoken at the counter. The pharmacy is set up for international visitors, so even if this is your first Korean pharmacy you can ask about ingredients, how to use a product and what we would recommend. The exterior signage also carries Thai, Arabic, Russian, French and Spanish.
Is tax refund available?
Yes. A tax refund kiosk is inside the store, so you can start the refund on the spot. As the board by the entrance states, refunds are issued to credit cards only — have your passport ready when you pay.
What kinds of products do you carry?
Three groups: skin care, regeneration and pigment or blemish care; symptom first-aid and everyday care; and health, eye, scalp and nutrition special care. PDRN dermocosmetics and K-beauty sit alongside the medicines, which is what makes browsing here feel like a Korean drugstore rather than only a dispensary.
Can I buy medicine without a prescription?
Over-the-counter and first-aid medicines can be bought after a short consultation with the pharmacist; prescription-only medicines require a prescription. Tell us your symptom and anything you are already taking so we can guide you accurately.
What is Bump Bump Cream?
A daily cream for bumpy skin texture and pore care, distributed through pharmacies only. It smooths the uneven texture that shows up under the eyes and along the jaw, and contains PDRN, which helps keep skin hydrated and firm. Apply it to the areas that bother you before bed, or use it on the whole face every two to three days for a more intensive reset.
